We’re more than delighted to see you. Welcome, welcome to Quartier Rouge, a most unique quarterly literary journal. We know you’re starving to get alone with a poet, to have them read to you, one-on-one, their glorious words. That’s why, here, we provide you with poems in video form. Yes, yes, darlings! Our poets read their poetry to the lens just for you, to stave off that hunger a little while longer. Now, come inside; you’ve been too long away.

Quartier Rouge is edited by Stephanie Berger, Nicholas Adamski and Alyssa Morhardt-Goldstein. All MFA graduates of The New School, NYC, Berger and Adamski run The Poetry Brothel, a poetry reading series birthed in NYC, and perpetuated throughout the US, Canada, Europe and Australia. Though QR’s first volume is comprised of NYC poetry whores, subsequent issues are now open to the masses for submission, so don’t be shy, darlings: submit here.
